The Swedish Research Council funds LETStudio project on chest tomosynthesis

Magnus Båth in Studio 1 has been granted 3.9 million SEK from the Swedish Research Council to investigate the possibilities for replacing CT with tomosynthesis in certain clinical problems in chest diagnostics. The project, that is included in the Research Council's commitment to fill well characterized knowledge gaps in healthcare, is an extension of an ongoing LETStudio project that focuses on how existing expertise in healthcare is challenged by new technologies of visualization.
