Karin Kjellgren is Professor in Nursing at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Linköping University. Since 2010 she is a member in the Centre for Person-Centred Care (GPCC) University of Gothenburg with the aim of establishing a centre for person-centred care in long-term illnesses. Kjellgren has her PhD in clinical pharmacology. Her research is about communication and education in different health care settings, with focus on adherence to drug treatment. She has worked with development of higher education in health sciences; between 1985-2000 as an educational consultant at Linköping University and 2002-2008 as Vice Dean of the Undergraduate Educations at the Sahlgrenska Academy.
