Emma Edstrand (former Petersson) has a master in sociology, and is currently a PhD student at the Department of Education, Communication and Learning at the University of Gothenburg. Her thesis is centred around issues concerning the role of digital media in environmental education, how science literacy may be promoted through the use of digital tools and how learning about socioscientific issues may be promoted in virtual environments.
