Associate Professor Agneta Ranerup works at the Department of Applied IT, University of Gothenburg. She has more than ten year of experiences of research with a focus on information technology as an intermediary between the citizen and the state in healthcare, education and pension reform. Since January 2010 her main research is pursued in a research project called "A Supermarket for Healthcare" financed by Bank of Sweden Tercentenary Foundation dedicated to issues such as how information technology is used as a support in primary healthcare reform. In the LET-studio her research focus is on how human actors (laymen, professionals) and technology take part in the design of mobile technology that will be used by patients.
